Worldwide Shipping

EastCoastBodyboards.com is now shipping worldwide!

Shipping is configured for many different countries for a single bodyboard box. If your desired items are smaller or bigger than what would fit in a single bodyboard box, please contact us directly and we'll work with you one on one to set up international shipping and get the lowest possible rate.

In general, bodyboards are shipped Priority Mail® International or Express Mail ® International, direct from New York and take 1-2 weeks at a rate of approx. $60 USD for a standard bodyboard box. If you're order will be smaller or larger than what would normally fit in a standard bodyboard box (i.e. board + pair of fins, clothing, DVD, wax), please contact us directly, since our international shipping settings are configured to automatically charge $60 USD shipping to your order (smaller orders will be less, approx $40 USD, larger orders more). Shipping for many countries (Spain, France, Portugal, Austrailia, Chile, etc) are already configured and $60 USD will be applied automatically at checkout.

For best results, feel free to contact us directly to arrange for international shipping, and we'll work with you one on one to set up shipping and makes sure it gets done right.

We package our shipments with great care to ensure your items arrive in perfect condtion, and we are also available by email around the clock, answering many emails within just a few minutes! We take great pride in customer service and value our customers.

International Orders
The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. Your privacy is important to us, and we know that you care about how information about your order is used and shared. We would like our international customers and customers shipping products internationally to be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities. Also, we may provide certain order, shipment, and product information, such as titles, to our international carriers, and such information may be communicated by the carriers to customs authorities in order to facilitate customs clearance and comply with local laws. If the order is a gift, the package is marked "Gift," but the cost of the item is still stated on the customs form. Customs authorities require us to state the value of the gift item directly on the package.


*Additional costs:
EastCoastBodyboards.com only charges customers what it costs us to ship products to you. It is your responsibility to determine any additional costs such as, but not limited to customs import duties, local delivery charges, etc.
EastCoastBodyboards.com makes every effort to give you the best available shipping opitions. If a package is refused for any reason and returned to us, any subsequent delivery charges will NOT be refunded. If customer provides an invalid address when ordering, all shipping charges are the customer’s responsibility including re-shipment fees.
Please note that many packages are delayed by customs in the receiving country, so shipping times are estimated.

*Special requirements:
In some cases, first-time international customers may be required to fax a copy of a credit card statement or other proof verifying they are the actual cardholder. This is sometimes required because our address verification system does not work in many countries. You will receive an email shortly after placing your order if this is requested.

*Didn't receive your shipment?:
If you received confirmation via email that your order shipped but you haven't received it in a reasonable amount of time, please contact us. In case of non-receipt of package, we must wait 60 days from the shipping date before a refund or duplicate shipment can be made.

*Out-of-stock items:
If an order contains items that are out of stock, the order will be held until we can fulfill the entire order. You will be emailed if this is the case, and given an estimated availability date of the items, or presented with other options. Please check your email often after ordering!

*Damaged/incomplete shipments:
If you receive a shipment that is damaged or incomplete, contact us IMMEDIATELY. We may request that you email a digital photo of any damaged items as proof. Some shipments are insured, so retaining all packaging and items in question is REQUIRED in order to provide a refund or replacement.
In some cases, you may be required to return-ship items at your expense and you will receive reimbursement upon our receipt of those items.

*Defective items:
Most items we sell have warranties through their manufacturer. Some of these warranties have time limits. Bodyboards, for example, have 90-day warranties. That means that any defects that may occur within 90 days of the date you receive the item will be covered. In many cases, if an item appears to be defective, we will request that you email a digital photo so that we may inspect the item, or so that we may forward the photo to the manufacturer. With most products it is the manufacturer’s choice to either repair or replace the item. In some cases, you may be required to return-ship items at your expense and you will receive reimbursement upon our receipt of those items.
