With a small slightly rounded nose and the chance of catching a rail while bottom turning and going through turns is lessened. With a full crescent tail to help with bottom turns and holding you rails in big waves, ending with a slight block along the full arch of the tail to allow the rail tail to release in turns, snaps and other maneuvers.
